Rescue 10 was built on a 2003 Freightliner FL70 chassis by Lantz Truck Body Ltd., Nova Scotia. This Heavy Rescue responds,
along with Engine 11, to all calls for fire, rescue and motor vehicle accidents. It is equipped with six SCBA's mounted
in the seats and access to four more in side compartments. The other compartments are full, anything from
rappelling gear to airbags, 2 sets of Holmatro® hydraulic tools (mainly used to free trapped
occupants involved in car accidents), K-12 saw for cutting metal or concrete, chainsaw, Hazmat kit, ice rescue suits,
7500 watt diesel generator, 19 spare SCBA air bottles. The list goes on.
